Kindersley RCMP are investigating a theft of firearms reported to them April 4, 2010. 15 handguns, , all in a locked compartment, in lock boxes and with trigger guards were reported stolen from a Red, 2008, Chev 3/4 ton, Diesel, 4-door with Saskatchewan Licence Plate. The truck would have had a Badger Arms sticker on it. The handguns were taken while being transported between Calgary and Melfort. The times the vehicle was unattended was west of Drumheller around 1:30 P.M. April 3 when the vehicle was left due to vehicle troubles and then during the night of April 3, morning of April 4 at a hotel in Kindersley. The handguns taken were 7 - Chaparral Arms, Colt, 1873, Single Action Revolver, 45 COLT (army reproduction), 2 - Chaparral Arms, Colt, 1873, Single Action Revolver, 44-40 WIN (army reproduction), 1 -Chaparral Arms, Colt, 1873, Single Action Revolver, 357 Mag (army reproduction), 3 - Norinco, NP 20, Semi-Automatic, 9mm Lugar, 1 Norinco, NP 40, Semi-Automatic, .40 Caliber and 1 - Smith and Wesson, 22A, Semi-Automatic, .22. The Firearms stolen are as follows:
