On December 28 , 2011, at approximately 03:00 the North Battleford RCMP responded to a shots fired call on the Red Pheasant First Nation located approximately 30 km South of North Battleford.
 
When officers arrived, they found a 36-year-old woman had been assaulted with a shot gun. Emergency Health Services attended and transported the injured person to hospital for treatment. The investigation is in the early stages and investigators are speaking with neighbours and potential witnesses about what they heard and saw.
 
The RCMP have laid the following charges against 34-year-old Robin Wuttunee (male) and 22-year-old Ashley Wuttunne (male) in connection with this occurrence:- possession of a weapon for the dangerous purpose;
- point firearm;
- assault with a weapon;
- careless use of a firearm;
- unauthorized possession of a firearm;
- possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order;
- mischief under $5,000Arrest warrants have been issued for Robin Wittunee and Ashley Wuttunne.  The public is asked not to approach these individuals and to call 911 if they see either of these individuals.
